General Information

MSF BASIC RIDER COURSE (BRC)

~ ALL BRC CLASSES ONLY $195.00 ~
Regular Course Fee and Out of State Drivers License $265.00

The Basic Riding Course is for beginning riders who wish to learn to ride, and to ride safely. The class includes approximately 5 hours
of classroom and two busy, full days outside on the range.

Upon successful completion of this course, and passing both written and riding tests, students will receive their license waiver.
Many insurance companies offer discounts for successful completion of this course.

Students need a good sense of balance, you should have recent bicycle experience. You also must have a valid car drivers license and a positive
attitude towards learning a fun, new skill. Prior to arriving for class Students will be expected to read the MSF Handbook and to know the answers
to the questions in the back of the book. Books can be picked up prior to class, or mailed to you, per your preference and time restraints.

Students are responsible for bringing the following items to class:
Your MSF Student Workbook, with the answers marked
Your Drivers License, bring to first classroom session
Appropriate Eye Protection
Sturdy over the ankle Boots or Shoes
Full Fingered Gloves
Long Sleeved Jacket or Sturdy Shirt
and a Helmet, 3/4 or full face helmet, if you have one.
Snacks, Beverages - You'll want to stay hydrated!
Sunscreen is a good idea also


BCMT will supply motorcycles and DOT approved Helmets to those who need them.
If a student shows up for class unprepared in any way, including not bringing any of the above named items, he or she may be asked to leave.
Tuition will not be refunded in these cases, so please show up prepared and ready for class!


Classes are offered in 2 day format, generally all day Saturday and all day Sunday.
(2 1/2 day formats can be scheduled upon request, with enough interested students). Please indicate if you prefer a 2 1/2 day format.
2 1/2 day formats will require a 3 hour session on a weekday evening - usually on a Friday.


MSF ADDITIONAL RIDING COURSE (ARC)
Course Fee $135.00 ~ Out of State $180.00
This class is for riders completing a Basic Rider Course, whether passing the skills test or not, who would like more training.
Class is taken on school trainer motorcycles, and can include a skills test at the end for those who do not yet have a mc endorsement.


MSF RIDER COURSE II ~ Skills Practice* (previously named Experienced Rider Course)
Course Fee $105.00 ~ Out of State $150.00
Prerequisites: Must have a valid 'M' endorsement on your drivers license, your own street legal motorcycle*, current registration and
proof of insurance for the motorcycle used during class.

This 5-6 hour course is designed for the licensed rider with at least 6 months to a year riding experience, and who wants to improve their
skills in a controlled environment. This class helps the intermediate rider improve both mental and physical riding skills on your own motorcycle,
and is generally a fun experience. Many major insurance carriers recognize this course for discounts.

*Your Motorcycle will be inspected for safety before being allowed into class, ie: no bald tires, worn brakes, etc

* There is a License Waiver - Testing Option after this class for those who still need an endorsement.
Experienced Rider Course-License Waiver $125.00 per student. Out of state license $170.00



MOTORCYCLE MAINTENANCE CLASSES
Course Fee $50.00

Class Last approximately 3-4 hours, you will get dirty, so dress appropriately.
$10.00 Additional Fee for changing the mc oil.

SIGNED CLASSES FOR DEAF & HARD OF HEARING RIDERS



CANCELLATIONS are honored up to 48 hrs prior to starting class date.
If you cancel with less than 48 hour notice,
your tuition fee may be forfeited or you may choose to reschedule for a $45 processing fee.
Cancellations with more than 48 hr notice, a $35.00 processing fee will be charged.

POSTPONING CLASS with 48 hrs notice or more, First Time - No Charge.
Postponing with less than 48 hrs notice or Multiple Class Date Changes will incur a minimum of $45 processing fee.
